JiUng Kim recently completed a PhD at the University of Waterloo under the supervision of Professor Elliot Biro. He continues his research at the Centre for Advanced Materials Joining (CAMJ) at the University of Waterloo as a postdoctoral fellow. His main research focus is the resistance spot-weldability of third-generation advanced high-strength steels, with particular emphasis on liquid-metal embrittlement.
