Jun Hu is now a senior engineer working in the Product Research group of Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. at Middletown, Ohio. He is in charge of characterizing plastic deformation, springback, and fracture behavior of new-generation advanced high-strength steels at different temperatures, strain rates, and stress states. He also provides experimental and finite element simulation support to welding, steel processing, tubular components, plate, and electrical steel development groups. Before this work experience, Jun Hu
received his PhD degree in automotive engineering and MS degree in mechanical
engineering at Clemson University
