Nick Avedissian is a Brazilian mechanical engineer with nine years of experience in CAE. He got his master’s degree in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2024 and has been working at Cadence since then. Before coming to the US, Avedissian worked for five years at MSC Software/Hexagon, working with multiple CAE solutions in structural analysis, composites, fatigue, manufacturing, and others. In early 2026, Avedissian became the Simufact Forming product manager, with the goal of building a next-gen RSW simulation workflow.
